Up to 1.8 million people will receive more money in their taxes under a new package that was unveiled Wednesday by President Donald Trump.
The package contains a slew of new tax breaks, such as the so-called tax credit for energy efficiency and a tax credit to help Americans buy new electric cars.
The money, $1.5 trillion, is meant to help consumers and businesses compete with cheaper competitors and help pay for a wide range of other spending, including a $300 billion infrastructure plan, $30 billion to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and $25 billion to improve health care.
It also includes tax relief on the purchase of energy efficient homes, which can help consumers make more money.
The $1,500 tax credit is aimed at those buying energy efficient houses, which are the most popular type of home in the country.
It’s a significant increase in the number of people eligible for the tax credit.
Since 2008, there have been about 10 million households that qualify.
The tax credit will not be available to people making less than $200,000.
The number of eligible households will grow to about 4 million by 2022, the White House said.
The stimulus package also includes a package of tax relief for small businesses, which has been touted as a win for the small business community.
The White House called the package a “major win for American small businesses” and said it would create 1 million jobs over the next 10 years.
The Tax Policy Center said the new tax credits were intended to spur economic growth, boost the U.S. economy, and help the U-S-A economy compete with other countries.
